So when the relationship was on the rocks, I figured that the text messages would stop, so I didn't do anything about them. Then - worst of luck - they patched things up. Now if I send a text, they'll see that I've been eavesdropping for almost 3 months. Worst of all, they will know my mobile number, and could get even by sending more texts or - even worse - phone calls.
I needed some advice.
I turned to Steve Murray, columnist for the National Post, who runs a (bad) advice column every Thursday.

Steve had some great advice, but best of all, I figured that my texter or her intended would recognize themselves.
Sure enough, no more texts - at least for 2 days.
